  • Provide constructive comments to help authors improve clarity, methodology, and interpretation.
  • Detect potential ethical concerns such as plagiarism, image manipulation, duplicate publication, or inappropriate data reporting.
  • Disclose any competing interests that may influence their judgment.
  • Complete reviews within the specified timeline to ensure smooth and timely publication.

2. Evaluation Criteria

When examining a manuscript, reviewers should consider:

Originality & Innovation

Does the work contribute new clinical insights, medical advancements, or healthcare solutions?

Relevance to Medical & Health Sciences

Is the study important to fields such as public health, epidemiology, clinical medicine, nursing, pharmacy, biomedical research, diagnostics, or therapeutic development?

Scientific & Methodological Rigor

Are the study design, sample size, data collection, and statistical analyses appropriate and sound?

Is ethical approval mentioned for studies involving human participants, patient data, or biological samples?

Clarity & Presentation

Is the manuscript well-structured, clearly written, and easy to interpret?

Are the results presented logically with sufficient supporting evidence?

Citations & Scholarship

Are relevant past studies referenced accurately and comprehensively?

Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Data

Are they clear, accurate, and directly supportive of the conclusions?

3. Review Process

Invitation

Reviewers will receive the manuscript title, abstract, and timeline for review.

Acceptance or Decline

Confirm expertise and availability before accepting the assignment.

Confidential Review

The manuscript must be treated as confidential and not shared without permission.

Recommendations

Reviewers may suggest one of the following:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

Feedback Submission

Provide detailed, respectful, and constructive comments for authors.

Include confidential remarks for editors if necessary (e.g., ethical concerns).

4. Confidentiality & Ethical Conduct

Manuscript content must not be disclosed, discussed, or used for personal benefit.
