1. Role of Guest Editors
Guest Editors are responsible for:
- Proposing relevant, innovative, and timely themes in medical and health sciences.
- Submitting a formal proposal including title, scope, and tentative timelines.
- Overseeing the peer-review process while maintaining fairness and scientific rigor.
- Encouraging high-quality submissions from researchers and clinicians.
- Ensuring alignment with journal ethical guidelines and publication standards.
- Optionally writing an introductory editorial for the Special Issue.
2. Proposal Submission
To propose a Special Issue, Guest Editors must submit a Special Issue Proposal Form containing:
- Proposed Title of the Special Issue
- Rationale & Relevance: Importance and timeliness in medical/health research
- Scope: Key themes (e.g., clinical diagnosis, epidemiology, pharmacology, nursing practice, patient care innovation, biomedical advancements)
- Tentative Timeline: Submission deadlines and review schedule
- List of Potential Contributors (optional)
- Guest Editor Details: Name, affiliation, ORCID iD, and a short bio
All proposals are reviewed by the Editorial Board. Approved proposals will receive formal confirmation
3. Responsibilities During the Special Issue
Guest Editors are expected to:
- Promote the Special Issue among their academic and professional networks.
- Invite contributions from leading medical researchers and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct initial screening for relevance and manuscript quality.
- Assign reviewers in coordination with the Editorial Office.
- Recommend decisions based on reviewers’ feedback.

4. Peer Review and Editorial Standards
All Special Issue submissions undergo the journal’s standard double-blind peer review.
Guest Editors must ensure:
